It's summer and it's hot here in Arizona, but in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Metro Phoenix we enjoy air conditioning nearly everywhere!  If we really need to "ice it down" we head for a movie (take a sweater) or a lovely restaurant with a favorite friend and bring the icy beverages to the table.

Many of the locals are heading, or are already "at the beach", which means one of two places:  San Diego or Hawaii.  As soon as summer school adjourns the town is packed up and moved out for the sea breezes. 

Some of us of course are "holding down the fort" and brave it out until the last minute, the buyers have purchased, the sellers are on their way, and then we take off as well.

Bangkok, Beijing, Paris, The Bahamas, or hiking in the Sierras.  The world is out there, and for those of you with Olympic tickets, Lucky You!

I know you have been reading about our foreclosures, so let us get that out of the way up front.  Yes, we have many, yes, they are unfortunate, and many are the result of over borrowing and over lending.  When the interest rates adjusted the monthly payments zoomed and forced many hard working families to move on. 

However, in the mid to upper price ranges, we don't experience that fatality factor for the most part.  We see a few, but only an handful. 

This is the time to buy!
