Greetings from Sunny Arizona!
You might think it is winter, which according to
the calendar that would be true. In Beijing it is 45 degrees F, in Istanbul
it was 32 degrees F, as I write this. And of course the colder climes in
America register even lower. I suspect that is where many of you regular
readers to this website reside, caught in the cold, yearning for sunny and
warmer Scottsdale!
It is nearly Spring here. I would state that we
had 3 weeks of winter weather in December, cold, rain occasionally, coat and
sweater daytime necessities.
Now it is January, as I write this, and it is
Sunny, chilly, and no wind nor snow.
 Everything is in high gear here: The Auto Auctions just started, great fun for you car lovers, the Super Bowl Sunday, the Arabian Horse Show, Parada del Sol, the Artists Shows, good theater, great outdoor hiking and kayaking, we have almost everything here except the ocean, but we are only one hour flight from the salt water or 4 hour drive to grand Mexico for a weekend by the sea. People say to me: "I guess the real estate market is in the down spiral, isn't it?" My answer is always the same, "not really in Scottsdale" Reply: "But I read to the contrary, foreclosures, bank repossessions, etc. everywhere"! And I say " There has seldom been a better time to purchase property than right Now! Prices are softening up a bit, sellers are really motivated, inventory is increasing. Let's go find something very good for you"  It's
true. This is a very good time to purchase that second home you have been
dreaming of for you and your family and friends to enjoy with you. Bring
Mom out of the cold, treat number one customer for a free weekend of sun and
golf, make a party, relax and enjoy it yourselves.
Now is the time.
Scottsdale real estate opportunities are
primetime now.
The press only quotes averages which includes
the overbuilt tract neighborhoods in huge supply. That is the best they can
do. Even though we ask them to separate out the various areas, and some do,
the national report looks not as rosy. But it is.....in Scottsdale.
Come on in, let's take a good look! You will
have a great time, get a tan, and have fun stories to tell when you get
home.
